Automated by Design is an interactive, multimedia exhibition that explores digital dehumanisation and autonomous weapons systems. Digital dehumanisation is the process by which humans are reduced to data, which is then used to make decisions and/or take actions that negatively affects their lives. The exhibition was created by Identity 2.0, and produced with support from Soka Gakkai International and Amnesty International. The exhibition will travel, but before it reaches a location near you, get a digital experience by exploring the exhibition microsite/

On 13 October, 2023, Stop Killer Robots launched Automated by Design, in New York City, during the UN General Assembly. The purpose of the exhibition is to support public, political and media outreach, and to create opportunities for members of the public, politicians and other decision makers to see autonomous weapons and digital dehumanisation as issues that are relevant to the lives of their families, friends and communities.
