Statement to the first informal CCW meeting on lethal autonomous weapons systems, 16 May

This statement, delivered to CCW participants at the first informal discussions on autonomous weapon systems, requests the CCW agree to a mandate in November 2014 to create a formal Group of Governmental Experts and dedicate more time to addressing the concerns that autonomous weapons present.
