Statement to the 74th UN General Assembly First Committee on Disarmament and International Security

This statement, delivered to delegates attending the 74th UN General Assembly (UNGA) First Committee on Disarmament and International Security. The statement warns of the fundamental ethical, moral, legal, accountability and security concerns that come with increasing technological capacity for autonomy in weapons systems, and highlights the essential role of multilateralism for a new international treaty.
